In a recent study conducted by OnePoll on behalf of mortgage lender Lower, 56% of Americans surveyed believe that right now is the best time to buy a house. The survey compiled responses from 1,000 homeowners and 1,000 renters.

55% of respondents claimed that ongoing record-high inflation has made them want to buy a home even more, and that homeownership is a desired investment opportunity toward financial freedom.

Nearly half said they want to get in a home before appreciation rises more and aim to buy within the year; the majority of this group would be first-time homebuyers.

Over 40% said that they want to live comfortably in retirement.

Over half of the renters surveyed said that they want to buy a home but can’t afford to.

Lower CEO Dan Snyder claims that partnering with an expert real estate agent and lender who value the customer experience will create a certain, simple process … so much so, that a buyer’s biggest worry will be finding the perfect home.
