Events leading up to the 4^th:

Cars & Stripes Forever

When:  Friday, July 1, 2022, 5pm-10pm

Where:  Harbor Blvd. and Swinford St., near Fanfare Fountains, San Pedro

Free, family friendly, patriotic event returns after 2 years to the Port of LA.

Over 100 historic, pre-1975 autos and motorcycles on show, live music, food trucks, beer garden.

Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Village Runner Independence Day 5K

When:  Sunday, July 3, 2022; 8am

Where:  Village Runner, 255 Avenida Del Norte, Redondo Beach

29^th Annual 5K race and Firecracker Dash runs along the ocean to celebrate Independence Day.

T-shirt for all attendees; prizes; medals for every child who completes the Dash.

Salute to the Troops Picnic and Concert

When:  Sunday, July 3, 2022; 5-7pm

Where:  Polliwog Park Amphitheater, 1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach

On Monday, July 4^th:

Fourth of July on Avenue I, Riviera Village

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022, 2-9:30pm; Fireworks at 9pm

Where:  Avenue I between S Catalina Avenue and Esplanade, Redondo Beach

Festival with live music, food, beer and wine all afternoon gives way to spectacular fireworks off the water after dark.

Redondo Beach Fireworks at Seaside Lagoon

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022, 12noon-7:30pm Water and Sand Time; Fireworks 9pm

Where:  Seaside Lagoon, 200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach

The City of Redondo Beach celebrates this family-friendly seaside event, offering front-row seats for this year’s Fireworks Spectacular.

4^th of July Celebration, El Segundo

When: Daytime: Monday, July 4, 2022, 10am-3pm;  Evening: Monday, July 4, 2022, 5-9pm

Where:  Recreation Park, 401 Sheldon Street, El Segundo

Daytime activities include a hula hoop contest, water balloon toss, sack races, and food trucks, plus pie eating contest and watermelon eating contest.

The evening events include live music, food booths, and fireworks at 9pm.

4^th of July Begg Pool Party Celebration, Manhattan Beach

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; 10am-2pm

Where:  Begg Pool, 1402 N Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach

Cost: $5 per person.

4th of July Fireworks Show, Torrance

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; Fireworks at 9pm

Where: Torrance Civic Center, Torrance

Two locations for viewing: West parking lot of Courthouse – 825 Maple Avenue and Galaxy Sports Complex – 855 Maple Avenue.

Rancho Palos Verdes 4^th of July Celebration

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; 11am-4pm

Where:  Point Vicente Park at RPV Civic Center, 30940 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes

Live music, food trucks, beer and wine booth, carnival rides, pony rides, activities and games for the entire family.

44th Annual 4th of July Community Observance at the Korean Bell

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; 11am-12pm

Where:  Angels Gate Park, 3601 South Gaffey Street, San Pedro.

This time-honored tradition celebrates one of San Pedro’s most enduring landmarks in ceremonial observance.

Ceremony includes posting of the colors and remarks by elected officials and members of the Korean community.

Free to all guests.

71^st Annual John Olguin July 4 Spectacular, San Pedro

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; 12noon - 10pm

Where:  Cabrillo Beach, San Pedro

Sponsored by the Port of Los Angeles and organized by the Cabrillo Beach Boosters, this celebration features music, family activities, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. at Cabrillo Beach. 

LA Galaxy July 4^th Fireworks, Carson

When:  Monday, July 4, 2022; 7:30pm

Where:  Dignity Health Sports Park, 18400 Avalon Blvd., Carson

Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy hosts Montreal for this special Independence Day match, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

Sunsational Sandcastle Contest by Roundhouse Aquarium

When:  Registration now through July 24, 2022

Where:  Any sandy location!

Children of all ages are invited to build sand sculptures at any location.  If not near a beach, sculptures may be created at the nearest park or sandbox.

Various themed categories include something for everyone.

Fundraiser for Roundhouse Aquarium’s Education Programs.

The Proud Bird Food Bazaar at LAX

When: Open Wednesday - Sunday; 11:30am - 7pm

Where: 11022 Aviation Blvd., Los Angeles
